Good+ condition for these composite head woods which were a true innovation in 1929 by designer Frederick Schavoir. Heads were made by GE and have attractive marbleing that looks almost like particleboard. These clubs are quite playable but with no insert should be used with softer golf balls. Driver is 42 1/2", stiff shafted (frequency checked), 6 degree closed face and 8 degree loft. Condition: Driver - Excellent head with small dent in face near sole; excellent original whipping and good ferrule; excellent seamless (appears) unstepped steel shaft with great chrome sparkle; excellent 14" leather wrap grip with collar and endcap. Brassie - excellent head with some flattening of face lines near toe; excellent original whipping; ferrule with 2 small chips on underside; shaft with some pitting for couple inches above ferrule but pretty good chrome sparkle and small bag burn mark about 5" above ferrule; excellent grip like driver. Spoon - excellent head with no defects except minor sole scratching like other two woods; replaced pitched linen whipping and good ferrule; excellent shaft with great chrome sparkle; excellent grip with some minor gapping in leather fold about half way up. About as good a set I've seen to date.
