A great matched set of MacGregor Nicklaus Personal irons vintage 1990. These are the forged cavity backs
with uniform edge weight distribution and flat soled long faces. Definitely player's clubs. 2-PW are serial
number matched on ferrule and have frequency matched steel Macgregor Velocitized shafts. These were
indicated to be stiff but frequency measure between stiff and Regular. 1 iron (acquired later) has Regular
steel shaft freq checked to Regular -- looks like TT lite. 2-PW have replaced excellent Royal sand wrap grips.
1i has replaced new Kelmac Tour Wrap clone. 2i length 39"; 5i 37 1/2"' 1 iron slighty extended to at 39 3/4".
Condition: 1i is flawless. Irons have been sanded pretty clean of major dings; there are a few scalp areas
where sanding has scraped into the chrome but polishing has improved the aesthetic. Numbered ferrules 019632
on 2-PW are very good with only the 6i damaged near the hosel. Shafts look very good to excellent with
good chrome sparkle -- the 6i has some rust pitting on the hole facing shaft side at address.
