Very nice wood from Japanese maker Honma. The persimmon woods hand crafted by Honma may be the best of the persimmon breed; they are priced
high thanks to the meticulous effort made to assemble them. The company is also quite progressive and was an early innovator
in using graphite shafts. This wood has a great crown with insignificant blemishes. The toe also has some minor bumps. Amazingly,
the edge is very smooth. Face, probably aluminum, is sanded and looks awesome. For the period of the late 70's this would probably
qualify for being a deep face driver. Perfect whipping. Perfect TT Dynamic Gold stiff X100 steel shaft and like-new GripTec rubber grip.
44 1/2", 9 degree loft, 3 degree open specs make this for non quiche eaters only.
