Burke Nub Iron "NO UNPLAYABLE BALL"

Golfengineering ID: oth5191
Vintage: Mid 1960's
Gender-Dexterity: right/left handed
Lifecycle: New
Shaft type: steel

An early trouble-iron from Burke Golf. Iron is 12" long and has chipper face that can be played from either side. These were made beginning in 1955 and ended production in 1971. Burke was merged into Worthington in 1963. The club is new but the hinged box has some edge wear. The outer covering was the gift package box. A very useful item for getting out of those impossible lies. Currently USGA rules require at least an 18" club length.
