Golfengineering ID: ucwd5443
Vintage: 1950's
Gender-Dexterity: Right handed

Shaft type: Steel

Good+ condition for this late 1950's laminated 1 wood from Philadelphia metro clubmaker, Geo Izett. President Eisenhower used Izett clubs and contributed to George's reputation as a renowned producer. This club is in nice condition with only very minor poly wear, perfect face and rich ruby tint. It has a very good True Temper Dynalite A flex steel ( A stands for Amateur and is often used by seniors or smoother swinging players used to Regular flex) shaft showing good chrome sparkle. The Golf Pride Chevron rubber grip is good and still soft and playable. Driver is 43" length, 10 degree loft and 1 degree open. Izett Inc., like K Smith, makes remarkably high quality equipment that is a pleasure to play with particularly if you are a traditionalist.
