| Good condition for this 1920's dot face anti-shank iron. Nowadays this design is referred to as face forward. Mothersele was a New England amateur with some credentials. The early wood shaft days saw many makes of irons by numerous clubmakers. Dot faced, pinned 3 1/2" hosel and excellent and perfectly straight hickory shaft with 1940's style perforated leather wrap grip. 35" standard 9 iron length. Sturdy enough to play yet interesting enough as a wall hanger. |
