Vintage about 1932. Beautiful head, essentially flawless, with plastic face preserver above soleplate. Huge backweight. Skinny seamless steel shaft at 1/4" diameter just above whipping. Chrome worn off most of length. Beautiful and very fine leather wrap 15 1/2" grip with black endcap. Old style whipping at hosel and grip collar. Ready for play. 42". Bristol invented the first hollow steel shafts used in golf and was awarded the design patent in 1910. The inventor described 'stepping' the shaft as part of the patent but this was not taken advantage of by Bristol and was later developed by True Temper in 1926.
