Taylor Made Tour Model III 1,3,5 metalwoods

Golfengineering ID: ucwd7362
Vintage: mid 1980's
Gender-Dexterity: Right handed
Lifecycle: used
Shaft type: steel

Fine heads with soles showing no wear. Face of 5W with minor abrasion. Hard to find heads this nice; there are no nicks on these heads. Good TT Lite regular flex steel shafts with excellent shaftbands. Although these shafts show excellent chrome sparkle, there is some pitting to the chrome from the ferrule to the first step. Fine and soft Golf Pride Tour Wrap grips. Driver 43 1/4". These woods were just one of many similar designs Taylor made as the metalwood craze took shape in the early 1980's. They weren't the first with metalwoods but were first with head geometry like familiar wood heads. They were definitely a 'players' choice from the top of line Tour Preferreds to these Tour Models, which essentially looked the same.
