New box of Rawlings Trevino golf balls with 3 sleeves. Lee signed with Faultless in 1967 and endorsed, very successfully, a line of autograph balls. Originally the Faultless balls were strategized to driving ranges but management changed that thru Trevino. However, due to extensive advertising the debt load became burdensome and, in 1976, the owners sold the company to Rawlings/Toney Penna, a division of a larger conglomerate. Faultless was retired as a name and Rawlings continued. By 1979 sales had lagged and consolidations and cost cutting led to the discontinuation of the Trevino relationship.
