Ready for play. Great specimen for this late 30's mallet that has the Schenectady look. Deep face 7/8". Good ferrule. Exceptional long step, skinny steel shaft showing near-new sparkle. Very good perforated leather wrap grip missing the collar (can be taped) and very fine Hagen logo endcap pistol butt. 35 1/4". Although there have been multiple makers of 'black jacks' over the years, I believe this is the earliest design. High swingweight. |
